This programme enables learners with lived experience in mental health and addiction, disability or chronic health conditions to support and empower others with similar lived experience in their recovery journey.

Entry criteriaAcademic entry Applicants must demonstrate potential to study at Level 4 with adequate literacy and numeracy skills. Applicants must be a minimum of 16 years old to commence the programme. All applicants must meet the requirements of the Children’s Act 2014 and its subsequent amendments, including: Providing verified identification. Providing evidence of previous education and work history in the selection process. Providing at least one written reference. Succeeding in a personal visual interview. Attaining a New Zealand Police vetting report. Arise Academy undertakes a risk assessment in accordance with the Children’s Act 2014 including the above information in order to select the applicants for the program. English language entry All applicants must provide evidence of meeting English language requirements according to Rule 18 of the NZQF Programme Approval and Accreditation Rules 2021.
